4th of July was my birthday and I have this thing, you know, where I never really got around to understand the concept of getting b-day presents. Why? Because I always think why do I get gifts? It's not like I did anything special. It wasn't me you did anything, actually I wasn't even able to decide if I wanted to be born. So why are we not giving presents to our moms on our b-days? Don't get me wrong, I love gifts as much as the next guy. But I never understood that I get gifts on a day where I did nothing. So yeah, I got this idea that I would give others a gift on my b-day. (also my mom)
I already gave one person a gift, but this popped up last minute. Enaxn's character Switchback. Was meant as a simple sketch, took me 1.5h. Might come back to work on it more.

okay so first of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope you had a TREMENDOUSLY GOOD BIRTHDAY OMG second of all I love this idea????? i wanna do this on my birthday now omg maybe I'll get you back claps hands delightedly and THIRD OF ALL THIS IS JUST!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!! omg the color is just perfect BLUE!!!! THERE IS SO MUCH BLUE AND IT'S JUST GOOOOORGEOUS!!!!!! GOODNESS!!!!!!

the lighting is SO neat too!! i love how it just POPS right on her face!! it's like she's peeking out of the bushes or something aaaaah I just love it!! I really love the dark foliage and the light grass! and how it's all BLUE ugh I love a good monochromatic picture especially when it's this GOOD!!!

AND SWITCH LOOKS SO GOOOOD!!! ugh your art is just so freaking NICE just look at her teeny little eeeeeyes oh my gosh!!! they're so round and yellow and curious-looking I just love it!!! Her fur is also that gorgeous teal color I LOVE that shade of blue aaah. I love how the light hits her leg too it so looks like she's cautiously approaching the viewer from the bushes it's just SO GOOD!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SO MUCH OH MAN!!!!!! it was SUCH a good surprise omg your art is just such a TREASURE I'm still so pumped to see you back again!! I'll get you back for this i swear THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! UGH!!!! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN I HOPE IT ROCKED!!!
